Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to retain the services of Japhet Tanganga for the second half of the season.
The 21-year-old has been restricted to just seven appearances in all competitions, leading to speculation regarding his short-term future.
West Bromwich Albion, Southampton and Celtic have allegedly been monitoring the situation ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.
However, Sky Sports News claims that Tanganga has been informed that he will be remaining in North London.
The academy graduate currently finds himself behind Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon for a place in the middle of defence.
Tanganga is also an option at right-back, particularly with Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty having failed to impress on a consistent basis.
