Swansea City's Nathan Dyer: 'I've recovered from dip in form'

Nathan Dyer believes that he is finishing the season "strongly" after a two-month spell out of the Swansea City team.

Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer believes that he has come back "strongly" from his dip in form this season.

The 27-year-old was tipped for an England call-up earlier in the campaign, but he spent two months out of the team after he was dropped by manager Garry Monk in February.

Despite the frustrating spell, Dyer is looking to the positives and believes that he is finishing the season in good form.

"A lot of players go through it where you get good times and bad times," Wales Online quotes Dyer as saying. "You want to be consistent, but this is the season where I've had a bit of a dip in form.

"It's hard for everyone to stay on top of their game week in, week out. You have these dips and it was only a couple of months, but I think I've finished things off strongly."

Monk has guided the Swans to eighth in the table - their best Premier League finish.
