West Ham United set Slaven Bilic top-eight finish

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan says that new boss Slaven Bilic will be looking to lead the Hammers to a top-eight finish in the Premier League this season.

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has stated that the Hammers will be looking to finish in the top eight of the Premier League this season.

The East London outfit will go into the new campaign under the management of Slaven Bilic, who took charge at Upton Park earlier this month.

"Slaven knows what is expected of him," Sullivan told The Sun. "He gets no bonus unless we finish top-eight or above. He has accepted that.

"We also insisted he agrees to being sacked with no pay-off if we get relegated. If he utterly fails, it's his responsibility. But Bilic sees this as his big chance and has an amazingly positive attitude."

West Ham finished 12th under Sam Allardyce last season.
