World number one Rory McIlroy has said that conditions at Palm Beach Gardens ahead of the Honda Classic are suited to his game.
The 23-year-old lifted the trophy last year and is aiming to become only the second person, after Jack Nicklaus, to win back-to-back titles.
"Hopefully I'm the first one since Jack to do it this week," Sky Sports News quotes McIlroy as saying.
"This week always depends on the conditions, it can get quite windy here and the course can play firm and it can get tricky but it doesn't look like it's going to be that way this week."
McIlroy lost to Shane Lowry in the first round of the WGC-Accenture Match Play championship last week.
