McIlroy hit an eagle and a birdie on the front nine before sealing the win by putting five birdies on the final nine holes.
A 68 for Lowry put the Irishman on 13-under, while Bjorn's three-over round of 75 saw the Dane finish the day on 12-under with England's Luke Donald.
Scotland's Stephen Gallacher and Englishman Simon Dyson ended the tournament on nine-under, and Sweden's Henrik Stenson was among five players to post a score of eight-under.
