Thorbjorn Olesen, Jeunghun Wang and Carlos Pigem are locked at six-under at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the first round of play at the inaugural Mauritius Open.
The trio each carded 65 to lead the way, ahead of Oliver Bekker and Terry Pilkadaris, who are among the chasing pack at the Heritage Golf Club.
Olesen, a two-time winner on the European Tour circuit, recorded eight birdies after recovering from a bogey on the opening hole to remain on course for another crown.
Elsewhere, eight players are tied on four-under 67, including Englishman John Parry.
