British gymnast Brinn Bevan has said that he cannot wait for the artistic gymnastics individual all-around final on Thursday.
Team GB came eighth in the team event, with Bevan placing sixth individually with a score of 86.624.
"Overall we're pretty pleased with our performance under the circumstances," he told TeamGB.com.
"Frank [Baines] has been suffering with a wrist injury which limited him to vault and floor so that meant every routine from me and Nile [Wilson] had to count.
"We're proud of how we stuck together and worked as a team. Personally I'm really looking forward to the all-around final up against some of the best gymnast in the world in my first year as a senior.
"I know I can go out there and express myself, maybe try some more difficult routines and see where I stand."
Bevan will also compete in the pommel horse final on Saturday.
