Team GB judoka Gemma Gibbons has described her second-round defeat at the European Games as "really frustrating".
The Olympic silver medallist won her opening fight in the -78kg category on Saturday, but she was unable to overcome Victoriia Turks of Ukraine in the last 16.
The Brits have struggled in the Azerbaijani capital so far, with the majority of the team's 14 competitors failing to get past round two.
"That second fight - it was against one of the top girls in the world and I know that I should be beating them," Gibbons told reporters. "It's just really frustrating because it's a fight that I know I could win. I know that sounds silly when it's against someone you haven't beaten before. It's just annoying. I know that I wasn't good enough today."
Gibbons has failed to win a European medal so far in her judo career.
