Manchester United are reportedly prepared to receive a formal offer from AC Milan for Marcus Rashford.
The 27-year-old recently stated that he is ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford, with his nine-year stint in the first team likely to conclude in the near future.
Asked following Man United's FA Cup success at Arsenal on Sunday, head coach Ruben Amorim stated that he is unsure whether Rashford will play for his side again.
The former England international was left out of the squad on the weekend at the Emirates, where the Red Devils secured passage into the fourth round of the competition following a penalty-shootout victory.
Rashford is set to be sentenced to a watching brief once again as Man United welcome Premier League strugglers Southampton to Old Trafford on Thursday night.

Man United ready for AC Milan offer for Rashford?
According to Sky Sports News, Man United are preparing to take the next step in their quest to offload Rashford during the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Red Devils are set to receive a formal approach from AC Milan, who are keen on bringing the attacker to Serie A.
It is understood that any switch away from the Theatre of Dreams this month would be a temporary one for Rashford, with Milan adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic openly expressing his side's desire to discuss a deal.
As well as the Italian giants, it is believed that Borussia Dortmund are interested in the services of the wantaway winger, although a transfer to Germany could prove tricky to complete.
The Bundesliga club are supposedly concerned about the financial aspects of a possible deal for Rashford, who currently earns £325,000 per week at Man United.

End of the road for Rashford
Since making his highly-anticipated debut in November 2015, Rashford has turned out in 426 competitive games for Man United, scoring 138 goals.
There is no doubting the 27-year-old's raw talent and his ability to string together excellent form when in the right mindset and system.
Recent proof of such a run arrives from the 2022-23 campaign, when Rashford bagged 30 goals across all competitions, including 17 in the Premier League.
However, with the Red Devils heading in a different direction tactically under Amorim, it appears that the winger's time at the Theatre of Dreams has reached its conclusion.
