Manchester United have bought Sky's stake in the club's official television channel MUTV to grant the club complete ownership of content and production.
The British broadcasters originally owned a one-third minority equity stake in the Red Devils' channel when the former Premier League champions launched it, along with ITV, in 1998.
Manchester United commercial director Richard Arnold told the club's official website: "The acquisition of Sky's stake is great news for all our fans who watch us around the globe, MUTV, its staff and the club.
"We look forward to continuing to enhance our media proposition and distribution capabilities in the years to come, and delivering some of the best and most compelling content to our 659m followers."
MUTV, which is available in 57 countries, bought ITV's stake in 2007.
