Neville Neville, the father of former Manchester United duo Phil and Gary Neville, has died after suffering a heart attack.
The 65-year-old is said to have fallen ill on a plane journey to Australia on Thursday.
According to The Sun, both Gary and Phil were at their father's bedside when he passed away in a Sydney hospital this morning.
Neville was flying Down Under to watch daughter Tracey take charge of England in the Netball World Cup.
A family statement read: "We would like to thank everyone at St Vincent's hospital in Sydney for the fantastic care and attention that dad received in the last few days and for their support.
"Tracey will remain with England throughout the tournament and we ask that she is allowed to concentrate on her role with the team."
The 14th Netball World Cup gets underway in Sydney later today.
