Former England cricketer Darren Gough has confirmed that he has split from his wife Anna following rumours that he has developed a relationship with former The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs.
Reports recently emerged suggesting that the 43-year-old had grown close to Childs, who is 20 years his junior, while filming Channel 4 reality show The Jump in Austria earlier this year.
Following the reports, Gough released a statement which said: "In response to the stories in today's press I can confirm that I am no longer in a relationship with Anna.
"However, we remain close friends and committed parents to our children. We will not be making any further comments on this and politely ask that you please respect our family's privacy at this time."
A spokesman for Childs has claimed that the model has "never" been involved in a relationship with Gough, who has two sons Liam and Brennan with his wife.
