Undefeated pound-for-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr is reportedly being sued by his ex-girlfriend for $20m (£13m) after he accused her of being on drugs.
Back in September 2010, the American fighter was arrested for allegedly punching his former partner Josie Harris, who is the mother to three of his children.
Fourteen months after his arrest, Mayweather pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor battery and two counts of harassment, which resulted in a three-month jail sentence, of which he served two.
In relation to the altercation, Mayweather, who earned upwards of £130m for beating Manny Pacquiao last Saturday, said in an interview with Yahoo's Katie Couric last month that he did not punch Ms Harris, but rather restrained her while she was under the influence of drugs.
According to CNN, Ms Harris, who now lives in California, claimed defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress in a lawsuit on Tuesday.
Mayweather's former partner has denied being a drug abuser or addict.
