West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie welcomed a baby boy into his family ahead of the Baggies' draw against Aston Villa.

The 31-year-old, who found the back of the net in a comeback 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday, revealed the name of his son on Twitter following the game.

Odemwingie tweeted: "Baby Noah was born 5'30 this morning and he says hi to everyone ! Couldn't wait any longer cos wanted to celebrate his daddy's goal !"

Meanwhile, the frontman is preparing to take on Everton in a Premier League clash next Wednesday.
