Great Britain's Chris Walker-Hebborn has admitted that he is "disappointed" with his finish in the semi-finals of the 100m backstroke at the World Championships in Kazan.
The 25-year-old was third after the turn, but the glide in his final stroke left him sixth in the field.
Despite the finish, the three-time European champion managed to claim the eighth qualifying spot for the final.
"I'm a little bit disappointed, I messed my finish up," Walker-Hebborn told BBC Sport. "I thought I finished better than I did, so I'm lucky to reach the final."
Walker-Hebborn and his compatriot Liam Tancock will race in the showdown tomorrow.
