Kyle Edmund has reached the final qualifying round of the US Open with a straight-sets win over Guido Andreozzi.
The British number three broke serve three times on the way to a 6-3 6-4 triumph over the world number 184 to move within one victory of his debut at Flushing Meadows.
The 20-year-old is joined by Brydan Klein, who eased to a 6-3 6-2 success over France's Tristan Lamasine.
In the women's section, Johanna Konta saw off the challenge of Japan's Naomi Osaka by a 6-4 6-4 scoreline, and she is joined by Naomi Broady, who came through a tight encounter with Duan Ying-Ying 6-4 7-6.
On Friday, Edmund plays Yoshihito Nishioka, Klein goes up against Matthew Ebden, Konta faces Tamira Paszek and Broady meets Anett Kontaveit.
