Caroline Wozniacki allays injury fears

World number five Caroline Wozniacki insists that she will be fit for Wimbledon despite withdrawing from the Eastbourne semi-finals on Friday.

Caroline Wozniacki has dismissed concerns that she may not be fit enough to feature at Wimbledon.

A hip problem restricted the world number five to just three games in her Eastbourne semi-final with Belinda Bencic on Friday, but on Twitter, the Dane appeared to confirm that she will be able to compete at SW19.

Wozniacki is scheduled to face Zheng Saisai in the opening round at the third major of the year.
