Team GB curler David Murdoch has said that it was "amazing" to receive a silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi on Saturday.
Great Britain were pipped to gold by Canada, who beat them 9-3 in the men's curling final on Friday.
Murdoch told reporters: "That was amazing the adrenaline rush when we all walked on the stage. The reception we got from the crowd ensured it really did sink it that reach of us had won an Olympic medal.
"We were disappointed by the final but now we are very proud to have been on that podium.
"My plans are now are just to get back home, I can't wait to see my friends and family and I really hope what we've achieved will inspire more people more people take up curling."
Great Britain women's team also collected their bronze medals during the ceremony.
