The Dallas Cowboys have re-opened contract talks with wide receiver Dez Bryant, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has entered the final year of his current deal, and had been expected to leave when it expires.
However, ESPN claims that the two parties have met for the first time in four months in the hope that a long-term deal will eventually be agreed.
Bryant has threatened to sit out the first game of the season if a deal isn't agreed, while he skipped the team's off-season activities.
He scored 16 touchdowns last season.
