Two late defensive touchdowns have given the Baltimore Ravens a 17-9 lead at half time in their match against the Houston Texans.
The Texans were the first to get on the scoreboard when Randy Bullock slotted a 27-yard field goal over with 7:10 remaining in the first quarter.
The Ravens did themselves no favours with a fumble early in the second quarter that allowed Houston to make an 18-yard drive and score a second field goal through Bullock, this time from 29 yards.
The reigning Super Bowl champions finally registered on the scoreboard with just over four minutes to go until half time when Justin Tucker kicked a 28-yard field goal.
The Ravens then took the lead when Daryl Smith intercepted a Matt Schaub pass before returning it 37 yards for a touchdown.
Tandon Doss extended this lead before half time with an 82-yard punt return before Bullock got three points back for his side with a late field goal.
