Houston Texans' Duane Brown: "I feel great"

Duane Brown believes that he is ready to play again following the injury that has kept him out since week two.

Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown has revealed that he is now fully fit and ready to play in Monday's game at the San Francisco 49ers.

Brown said that he did not quite feel ready to play in the Texans' game last Sunday, which they lost to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime.

"I am happy," Brown told the club's official website. "I feel great, man. I feel great. It was a really good feeling to go out there and go full speed, take a lot of reps. It felt good.

"It just didn't feel as good as I thought it would [on Sunday]. Moving around when you are out there on your own, felt pretty good just moving around but then when it came time to try and drive, block, and things like that, it just didn't feel quite as strong as I thought it would. So, we just wanted to take it easy and be sure.

"I wanted to be confident in going out there and playing on it and know I could play like myself and not feel like I'm less of a player on it so I had to be careful."

Brown was drafted by the Texans in 2008.
