Andrew Luck: 'We will get better'

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck insists that his side will work hard to improve following their shock 30-point defeat to the St Louis Rams on Sunday.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has vowed that his side will work hard to improve following their shock defeat to the St Louis Rams on Sunday.

The Colts were blown away by the Rams in the first half, losing 38 points without reply before finally getting on the scoreboard late in the third quarter to make the final score a slightly more respectable 38-8.

Despite the defeat being the Colts' worst at home for 20 years, Luck insists that his side are not feeling sorry for themselves and are instead looking to learn from their mistakes ahead of Thursday's match against the Tennessee Titans.

"I don't think anybody is having a freak-out session, in a sense, but we'll work at it and hopefully get better," Luck told reporters.

"Learn from your mistakes, look back and you don't want to forget the whole game in a sense.

"You get better, but we realize there's no time to feel sorry for yourself, no time to lament. We have a tough ball game coming up in a matter of days."

Despite the defeat, the Colts remain first in the AFC South with a 6-3 record, two wins clear of the Titans.
