Suspended Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito agrees to postpone his grievance hearing until the NFL investigation into alleged bullying within the team is over.

Suspended Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito has agreed to delay his grievance hearing until the current NFL investigation into allegations of bullying within the team is over.

Incognito was suspended on November 3 for his part in the alleged harassment of teammate Jonathan Martin, leading the guard to file a non-football injury grievance against the team.

The hearing had initially been due to take place on Thursday, but Incognito has agreed to postpone it until after the investigation has finished, as well as vowing to assist lead investigator Ted Wells however he can in an attempt to clear his name.

"I have agreed to postpone my expedited arbitration hearing until after the investigation by Ted Wells is complete," read a statement released on Incognito's behalf.

"I will cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation with a goal of resuming my career with the Miami Dolphins at the conclusion of this investigation. I love my teammates and hope we can put this distraction behind us soon."

Wells is expected to finish interviewing Miami players and staff by the end of this week, while the Dolphins must decide whether to reactivate or release Incognito by December 2.
