Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has insisted that he is a "great player" despite having an inconsistent season.
The 27-year-old has 56 receptions for 743 yards but has scored only three touchdowns after initially struggling earlier in the year to adapt to his new side following his off-season move from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"This is the time when you've got to be the best you can be," Wallace told the Miami Herald. "It's December. I've had enough time to get adjusted.
"It's the time for me to be the player I know I am, no matter [what]. Just block out everything and play football.
"I'm a great player, I know that. It's all that really matters. Let's call a spade a spade."
The Dolphins are 6-6 in their season after week 13.
