New England Patriots complete Brandon LaFell deal

Free agent wide receiver Brandon LaFell signs with the New England Patriots on a reported three-year deal.

The New England Patriots have announced that they have completed the signing of free agent wide receiver Brandon LaFell.

The 27-year-old was allowed the leave the Carolina Panthers last week to test the free-agent market after five seasons with the team.

Following a successful visit with Bill Belichick's side, LaFell has penned a three-year deal with the Patriots that will keep him at the club until the conclusion of the 2016 season.

LaFell recorded 49 receptions for 627 yards along with five touchdowns last season.
