The New York Giants have announced that running back Da'Rel Scott has been released by the team.
The 25-year-old, who made his first start for the side on Sunday, recorded 56 rushing yards, 98 receiving yards and a touchdown in the first four games of the season.
The NFC East side cut Scott in order to bring in center and guard Dallas Reynolds, to fill in for David Baas and Chris Snee, who both have injuries.
The Giants, who are without a win so far this season, face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
