Jamaican sprint duo Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake have outlined their intentions to try their hand at Twenty20 cricket.
The Olympic 100m and 200m gold and silver medallists are both renowned fans of the game, and have cited players such as Chris Gayle as their idols.
Bolt once bowled Gayle in a charity cricket match before going on to hit a six off Gayle's bowling, and the charismatic sprinter has confirmed that he has been in talks to join Australia's Twenty20 Big Bash league.
When asked if there was any truth in rumours linking him with a similar move from athletics to cricket, Blake told Sky Sports News: "Yes. I want to play some Twenty20. I think I'm ready, I'm good.
"I have a bowling machine that I'm practising with so I think I'm going to get ready for it."
Blake today became the first non-cricketer to ring the bell to signal the start of play at Lord's.
