Brooklyn Nets coach Lionel Hollins has given some indication of his gameplan for next season, having insisted that Deron Williams is the side's primary ballhandler.
The franchise are heading into October's NBA campaign with a strong chance of making the playoffs, with the Nets featuring a number of adroit veterans like Joe Johnson and Kevin Garnett. However, their coach has moved to highlight Williams as a key member when in possession.
"He's a point guard. He's our point guard. Will we play Jarrett Jack and Deron together? I'm sure we will," said Hollins, according to the New York Post.
"But that doesn't mean Deron has to be off the ball. When you have two guys who can handle the ball, it doesn't matter who handles it, but he's going to be the primary ballhandler."
The new NBA season gets underway on October 28, with the San Antonio Spurs taking on the Dallas Mavericks on the league's opening night.
