Brooklyn Nets survive Los Angeles Clippers comeback

The Brooklyn Nets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 102-93 to clinch their third win in a row.

The Brooklyn Nets were able to hold on for a 102-93 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, despite a strong finish by the visitors.

The Clippers got off to a decent start, but Andray Blatche and Joe Johnson helped the Nets take control, each adding 21 points.

Brooklyn headed into the fourth quarter with a 21-point lead, but Doc Rivers's side rallied in the final 12 minutes, as Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison brought the away side to within nine points of their opponents' score, but it was not enough to stop the Nets from claiming their third straight win in the NBA.

Chris Paul led the scoring for the Clippers, finishing the game with 20 points, two rebounds and two assists.

The result leaves Brooklyn second in the Atlantic Division, while the Clippers remain top in the Pacific.
