Brooklyn Nets too strong for Atlanta Hawks in London

The Brooklyn Nets prove too much for the Atlanta Hawks in their third game in London's O2 Arena.

The Brooklyn Nets sealed a comfortable 127-110 win over the Atlanta Hawks in their third NBA regular-season game at London's O2 Arena.

The Hawks were able to stay with their opponents in the first quarter, but former Atlanta shooting guard Joe Johnson led the Brooklyn charge, finishing with 29 as the Nets opened up their lead.

Kyle Korver struggled for the Hawks, missing seven shots in the first three quarters, before making his only basket of the night late on.

Atlanta's top scorers came from the bench, with Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack both adding 17, while Jeff Teague had 16.

The Nets have played two regular-season games in the UK capital before, beating the Toronto Raptors twice three years ago.

The result leaves Brooklyn as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, while Atlanta remain fourth.
