Report: Luol Deng trade could be 'accelerated'

The Chicago Bulls could look to accelerate their efforts of trading Luol Deng.

The Chicago Bulls may look to 'accelerate' their attempts to trade Luol Deng following Derrick Rose's latest injury.

The 25-year-old point guard suffered a tear in the medial meniscus in his right knee and will miss the rest of the season.

As a result, Deng, who can walk as an unrestricted free agent next summer, may be actively put on the trade block, according to the Chicago Tribute.

Deng has yet to agree on a contract extension with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
