Sacramento Kings head coach Michael Malone has expressed his relief at seeing his side finally find some consistency in their defensive displays.
The Kings continued their recent good form by cruising to a 124-80 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night and Malone was quick to praise the team for a stubborn defensive performance at the Sleep Train Arena.
"Consistency isn't something we've shown defensively, but the last three games I think the defence has been consistent, the effort has been there, and the communication has been there," Malone told reporters.
"We bought in the last three games and protected our home court. That's great."
Sacramento's victory was the biggest in the NBA this season.
