Toronto Raptors stunned by Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets beat the Toronto Raptors 103-95 to secure their fourth win in a row in the NBA.

The Charlotte Hornets clinched their fourth win in a row in the NBA, stunning the Toronto Raptors with a 103-95 victory at the Air Canada Center.

Gerald Henderson gave the visitors the advantage early on, putting them up by eight by the end of the first quarter, but the Raptors responded in the second to lead at the break.

Charlotte were too strong after at the start of the second half though, as Henderson and Kemba Walker led a dominant third quarter for the Hornets, outscoring their opponents 25-14.

The Raptors cut their lead to four points late on, but Walker added a jump shot inside the final 20 seconds, giving the visitors a six-point cushion to see out the win.

The result moves the Hornets to a 14-24 record, while an 11th defeat of the season for Toronto drops them to third in the Eastern Conference.
