WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez will fight in his native Argentina when he returns to the ring on April 27.
The 37-year-old has not fought in his home country in more than 10 years, but will return after undergoing surgery on a troublesome knee.
It is understood that Martinez will return to training by the New Year as he prepares for the fight, although an opponent has not yet been named.
Martinez has won 50 of his 54 professional fights.
