British middleweight boxer Billy Joe Saunders has dismissed Chris Eubank Jr's chances of becoming a world champion.
Saunders managed to beat the 26-year-old on points in November 2014, but Eubank, who is the current WBA interim middleweight champion, insisted that he should have been awarded victory.
Eubank, who is the son of former WBO middleweight and super-middleweight champion Chris, has previously claimed that he could beat Gennady Golovkin.
"Eubank Jr is not a world-class fighter and will not be a world champion - never, ever," Saunders told World Boxing News. "The belt he holds at the minute isn't a world title and unless he fights a complete and utter bum, he will never get one.
"For him to say he's up there with Golovkin is laughable and embarrassing. 'GGG' would stop him in 30 seconds. Him and his father fraud people into buying how good he is, but you can't lie in boxing, eventually he will get found out again."
Eubank will face Tony Jeter on Saturday.
