Australia captain Michael Clarke has said that his side have "no excuses" for losing the one-day series against England.
The tourists succumbed to their third straight defeat at Chester-le-Street yesterday as England won a crucial toss and bowled the Aussies out for just 200.
"We have no excuses," Clarke told BBC Sport. "we're just getting outplayed. We've got to perform better.
"The toss didn't help but we have to scratch out more than 200 and certainly bowl better than we did.
"It was tough batting first but it's tough when you play against good opposition in whatever conditions you face."
There is one remaining match in the series on Tuesday with a day-nighter at Old Trafford.
