England batsman Kevin Pietersen has signed a full central contract with the ECB.
The 32-year-old had been on a reintegration period following a falling-out with management and a handful of his fellow players during the summer Test series against South Africa.
However, he returned to the team for the recent tour of India and played a key role as England recorded a 2-1 series victory.
Now, ahead of the one-day clashes with India, coach Ashley Giles informed the media that the ECB have offered South African-born Pietersen a permanent deal, which he has signed.
Pietersen made his England debut back in July 2004.
