England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has underlined the importance of making a good start against New Zealand in the second Test on Wednesday.
The first Test between the two teams in Dunedin ended in a draw.
"Our main focus is on starting a lot better than in the last Test," Prior told BBC Sport. "I'm sure the Kiwi bowlers will be feeling it.
"Any seamer bowling 40 overs is a mammoth effort. I'd rather have been batting for 170 overs than fielding, let's put it that way."
The second Test will be held in Wellington.
