Jonathan Trott and James Anderson have been rested for England's one-day series with India.
Both players played a pivotal part in England's first Test series win in India in 28 years, with Anderson earning the man of the match award for his fourth Test match performance as England got the draw they needed to secure a 2-1 victory.
Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes have been called up as their replacements for the five-match series which starts on January 11.
Buttler has just a solitary one-day cap for England, while Woakes has made six appearances since making his limited-overs debut last year, scoring 72 runs and taking seven wickets.
The ECB have recently stressed the need to manage the players' workload ahead of a hectic 2013 schedule which sees England travel to New Zealand ahead of back-to-back Ashes series with Australia.
