Momentum swung back in the favour of New Zealand during the second session on day four of the first Test against India at Eden Park.
Things looked positive for India when they resumed after lunch requiring 227 runs for victory with eight wickets in hand.

The tourists edged 90 runs closer to their target before tea, but lost three wickets in the process, including the controversial dismissal of Ajinkya Rahane in the final over of the session.
Rahane (18) was given out lbw to Trent Boult, who got the new ball to swing nicely, although replays showed that the batsman had clearly hit the ball before it struck his pads.
The wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli had earlier been taken by BJ Watling for 115 and 67 respectively.
Rahane's exit brought captain MS Dhoni to the crease, and he safely negotiated five deliveries before tea.
At the other end, Rohit Sharma is currently unbeaten on 19 off 58 balls.
