Nasir Jamshed hit a century as Pakistan comfortably beat India by 85 runs in the second one-day international in Kolkata.

An innings of 106 from opener Nasir Jamshed helped Pakistan to an 85-run win over India in Kolkata.

Jamshed and fellow opener Mohammad Hafeez put on 141 for the first wicket before Hafeez was dismissed for 76.

The wicket of Hafeez led to a flurry of wickets for India and Ravinda Jadeja finally brought an end to Jamshed's innings with the score on 210-5.

Pakistan were bowled out for 250, but despite a fast start, none of the India batsmen could put together a significant innings.

After Virender Sehwag was trapped lbw by Umar Gul, India lost their impetus and when they were reduced to 131-7 with just 12 overs remaining, Pakistan finally cleaned up the tail to bowl the hosts out for 165.
