Worcestershire Rapids have moved to the top of the T20 Blast Northern Division table with a five-wicket win over Durham Jets in a rain-affected match in Durham.

With the teams reduced to 13 overs each, Durham, who were put into bat first, made 105-3 before Worcestershire hit 107-5 with two balls to spare.

Calum MacLeod top-scored for the hosts with an unbeaten knock of 43 after their openers had made a meagre five runs between them.

Ben Stokes also made a significant contribution at the crease with 24, while Gordon Muchall hit 30 not out to push Durham past the 100-run mark.

Chris Russell proved the most effective with the ball for the visitors as he ended with figures of 2-24.

Decent knocks of 32 and 11 from Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Colin Munro respectively helped Worcestershire get towards their winning target before Ross Whiteley (25) and Gareth Andrew (20) saw them over the line.

John Hastings finished with three wickets for the home side, while Chris Rushworth and Usman Arshad shared the remaining two wickets between them.
