South Africa captain AB de Villiers has confirmed that seamer Vernon Philander is fit for tomorrow's World Cup semi-final against New Zealand.
The 29-year-old missed three pool matches and last week's quarter-final against Sri Lanka, in which the Proteas secured a nine-wicket victory.
However, De Villiers told reporters in today's press conference that Philander is "ready to go" ahead of the crucial showdown in Auckland.
This year is the first in which South Africa have won a knockout match in the tournament.
