Pakistan end day on 6-0 after ending South Africa innings

Pakistan reach 6-0 on stumps after they bowled South Africa out for 253 on the opening day of the first Test.

Pakistan have ended the day 6-0 in Johannesburg after an impressive evening session which resulted in the dismissal of South Africa's batsmen.

Wickets began to tumble for the Proteas after tea courtesy of Mohammad Hafeez, who dismissed four opponents over the course of the day, and the hosts finished on 253.

Pakistan's reply began with just two overs remaining in the day as Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed took to the crease to see out the session without any wickets falling.

Hafeez managed to survive the opening over with a couple of runs to the leg side as well as a four, while Jamshed saw through a maiden to remain in the order for tomorrow's innings.
