Sri Lanka are leading Pakistan by 74 runs on day three of their second Test match at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.

The lead comes at the expense of their openers as Upul Tharanga was bowled by Abdur Rehman five runs short of his half-century.

Sri Lanka lost their second wicket a few overs before tea as Rehman got his second wicket when Jayan Silva was caught for just 17.

Pakistan held a slender lead of just 12 runs at lunch and will be looking to capitalise on that second wicket that came just before the break.
