West Indies wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin has been charged with "conduct contrary to the spirit of the game" by the ICC for claiming a dropped catch during his side's match against Pakistan on Friday.

Wicketkeeper Ramdin said that he had caught Misbah-ul-Haq but the ball popped out of his grasp and hit the floor before he regained control.

Originally given out, the umpires chose to review the call and Misbah was summoned back to the crease once it was deemed that Ramdin had not taken the catch cleanly.

Misbah went on to score 96 not out but it wasn't enough for victory as the Windies won by two wickets.

Ramdin, 28, has pleaded not guilty and a hearing will take place on Monday.

If found guilty he could face a fine and a suspension of up to two one-day international matches.
