Orica-GreenEDGE director Matt White has been relieved of his duties after admitting to doping during his career.
The Australian team took the decision to dismiss White after he revealed that he had taken performance-enhancing drugs in his racing days.
Teams have been trying to stamp down on doping following the United States Anti-Doping Agency's release of damning evidence against American cyclist Lance Armstrong.
White previously worked as the professional men's co-ordinator with Cycling Australia.
