Gary Anderson beats Jelle Klaasen 9-5 to book his place in the last eight at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead.

Gary Anderson overcame Jelle Klaasen on Saturday night to book his place in the last eight at the Players Championship Finals.

Anderson hit three 180s and averaged 88.13 as he beat the Dutchman 9-5 in Minehead, Somerset.

The Scot has now defeated Klaasen three times in 2013, while the pair's all-time head-to-head record is deadlocked at six wins each.

Anderson will face practice partner Justin Pipe in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
