Phil Taylor has reached the final of the Grand Slam of Darts by beating Adrian Lewis in a record-breaking match at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
The contest saw 32 180s, beating the previous PDC match record of 31, which was recorded in 2007 in the World Championship final between Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld.
Lewis, who ended the game with a three-dart average of 110.99, had been 8-7 ahead, but Taylor then reeled off eight consecutive legs to take control, before eventually hitting double top to win 16-9.
Taylor, who hit 14 maximums and had a 55% success rate on doubles, averaged 109.76 and took out finishes of 167 and 160.
'The Power' will now face Robert Thornton in tonight's final, after 'The Thorn' beat Scott Waites 16-9 in the afternoon's first semi-final.
