Salernitana welcome mid-table Lazio to Stadio Arechi in the first round 13 encounter of the Serie A weekend on Saturday.

The cellar dwellers are winless this season, while Maurizio Sarri's men picked up one point from an available six before the international break.

We say: Salernitana 0-1 Lazio

While Lazio have lost three of their last five away games, those defeats were to Milan, Juventus and Bologna, and they should return to winning ways on Saturday with a marginal victory in Salerno.

Heading back to the future, Napoli aim to kick-start their Scudetto defence on Saturday evening, when they visit Atalanta BC under 'new' management.

Walter Mazzarri's second spell starts against La Dea, who sit just one point and one place behind in the Serie A standings.

After a patchy start to the season and some unsettling off-pitch turmoil, a fresh face in the dugout could yield immediate results for Napoli. Renowned for his team of Edinson Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik, returning coach Mazzarri is still well regarded in Naples and could help the Partenopei earn a point against tough-to-beat Atalanta.

AC Milan vs. Fiorentina (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Hoping to reset after taking just two points from their last four Serie A matches, AC Milan welcome Fiorentina to San Siro on Saturday.

While Milan have faltered, the Viola are still pursuing Italy's top four despite their own autumn woes, sitting just three points behind their hosts with nearly a third of the season played.

We say: AC Milan 1-0 Fiorentina

With their Scudetto hopes already diminishing by the week, Milan must pick up points to keep pressure on Serie A's top two. The Rossoneri's win-rate drops some 20% without either Rafael Leao or Olivier Giroud on the pitch, but Fiorentina are also lacking a clinical finisher and could be picked off on the break.
